Chinese food deliverer robbed, assaulted: Cops
BAYSIDE — A delivery man was assaulted during a robbery Saturday night, police said.
The victim was delivering Chinese food to a home at 38th Avenue and 216th Street around 5:45 p.m. when an unidentified black man approached him, displayed a gun and demanded money, police said.
The suspect then struck the delivery man in the face, removed his wallet and fled in a gray Acura, investigators said.
